We bought an older home a little over a year ago and have been using A1 Plumbing ever since. When we first moved in, we had a refrigerator line burst and Victor talked my husband through how to shut it off. He never charged us for that phone call. The next time we called, we had a leaky toilet that wasn’t caught during inspection. I was very worried it had leaked through the sub floor (we’d had a flood in our previous home). Scott and Victor were the fastest to respond (this was during Covid and another company we called didn’t even return our call). Scott assured me it hadn’t reached the sub floor but when he saw I was still panicked, he removed the toilet (for free) to show me. Since then they’ve been to our home multiple times for issues ranging from leaky faucets to a cracked water heater. (Like I said - older home) They’re always fast to respond, very personable and extremely fair in their pricing, often pricing products for us before giving us a final quote to make sure we can get the cheapest rate. I trust them for all our plumbing repairs and haven’t bothered to call another company since. 10/10 would recommend and we have recommended them to both family and our neighbors.

We’ve had them out twice and both times we had a great experience. Scott fixed a sink pipe issue quickly and for a great price and it was done well. He then came out to fix a leaky shower and the job involved more than we realized it would, but he fixed it quickly and did a great job and at a great price! They’ve been very responsive and quick to help, great work, cleaned up anything out of place, and excellent prices. They go above and beyond.

I had a plumbing issue on an inspection report, while selling my house. I called Victor at 5:15 pm on a Thursday. He answered, even though it was after 5 pm. We discussed my issue and he said he could come the following day but that was not convenient for me. We scheduled for the next day, a Saturday. He showed up on time, assessed the problem and promptly fixed it. His charge was reasonable. It was a very good experience. I would highly recommend Victor and A1 Plumbing.

Thief & Unbelievably Foul I used this company 4 years ago and totally forgot it was a bad experience then. I left a comment back then but because I'm leaving this review I can only edit my last review. On November 20, 2017 my water heater started acting up and I call A-1 plumbing, I spoke with Victor about setting up an appointment. When they arrived Victor and his son Scott went into the garage. Scott looked at me and said “you are the guy who left us a bad review a few years ago”. I said I don’t remember that but if I had a problem I would just tell you (that should have been my clue to end the visit). Scott went into the crawl space and told me I needed a new element in the water heater because it was bad, he also said I would eventually need a new water heater because it was leaking and it was old. While I was standing with Victor in the garage he said “I wish my son Scott would get it together but he drinks too much”. I just listened and went into the crawl space with Scott. While Scott was working on the heater he said “I can tell you were to get a heater and I will install it cheaper than what my dad will charge, just slide me a twenty”. I thought this was foul because he is in business with his father. Scott eventually replaced the element and the thermostat. I paid and they told me everything was working fine. This whole encounter was weird but I didn’t really care as long as my water heater was working. The next day I noticed the hot water was not working at all. So I decided to go into the crawl space to see what was wrong and I noticed the pressure valve was completely corroded and split. It was something that was completely noticeable and should have been mentioned while Scott was working on it. I called Victor and sent him pictures, he admitted it was something Scott should have noticed while working on it. The following day they came out and Scott told me the water heater needed to be replaced. Victor said this would not be a good time to do the replacement because it was about to be Thanksgiving and they may not be able to get the heater from the manufacturer so I should wait till after the holiday. When they left I went back into the garage and I noticed a gift (bottle of black berry moonshine liquor) a friend bought me was missing off the counter. I did not jump to conclusions so I searched the house thinking maybe I was the one who misplaced it but I finally realized it was stolen. On November 27, 2017 Victor called me and said they would like to schedule a time to come by and replace the water heater. I cut Victors conversation short and told him I wanted to speak with Scott and I mentioned everything Scott said in the crawl space about undercutting him to my bottle of liquor being stolen. Victor told me he was not surprised and he would have Scott call me. Scott called me shortly after and I asked him if he stole my bottle of liquor and he said no. I told Scott I had a camera set up in the garage and I was going to play it back and if he told me the truth I would leave it alone but if I see him stealing on my camera I would press charges and Scott admitted he stole my liquor. I told him he did a poor job on my water heater which I paid for and on top of that he stole from me which was completely unacceptable. Scott stated he was having a hard time and he was sorry for not doing a better job on my water heater and for stealing my liquor (this conversation is audio recorded). Victor stated that Scott is a good plumber but he was making bad decisions. I decided not to press charges but I would share my experience with other customers and the BBB. To top it all off I still need to get my water heater replaced, I lost time at work, lost money and honestly I feel like I should get my money back for the inconvenience and a new water heater

Our first call when we have a sink blockage or any plumbing issue! A1 is responsive, kind, hard working and very affordable (especially in comparison to other rooter or plumbing companies). We are so thankful for their dedication to resolving the problem and highly recommend them for their quality work.

Vic worked with our son while we were out of town. He didn't try to take advantage of us as some plumbers do. He did the job for a fair price and did good work. This plumber has the experience, know-how, reliability and integrity that you can depend on. We highly recommend him.

My Husband talked to Victor and he was able to communicate and help and give a fair quote for unclogging our toilet.. But he sent his son Scott. Scott showed up reaking of liquor and got mad his machine wouldnt fit in the door. He ended up literally leaving mid job without a explanation. A few hours later proceeded to personally text my husband stating to never call him again because we wasted his time. My husband let him know we wont be calling and to stop drinking!

Sam is busy because of his Affordable Prices but I wouldn't call anyone else for my Oil heater, Installed a new pump and got my heat on for the price another HVAC company quoted me just to give a ESTIMATE!!! He Saved my a Ton of MONEY!!!
